Pearl Stringing
Whether freshwater or the
finest Mikimoto pearls, Aspens Jewellers offers a professional restringing
service. Fine pearls are strung on silk or nylon thread, typically with a knot
separating each pearl. This not only keeps the pearls from rubbing against one
another, but if the string should break, only one pearl should come loose.
Pearl thread will become dirty over time and may stretch or otherwise weaken.
Pearls should be professionally restrung when this occurs. We also restring
beads of any length and size with colour coordinated string.
